ARC Voyagers in Grove City, OH is seeking an Activity Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role offers Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with an hourly wage of $18.00.

Qualifications

• 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• People-focused with a positive, patient, and encouraging attitude.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working independently while staying organized and professional.
• Passionate about helping individuals achieve personal goals and community inclusion.
• Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and provide person-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support following each individual's ISP and tailoring support to goals and needs.
• Plan and lead educational, recreational, social, and community activities.
• Encourage independence by teaching daily living, social, and communication skills.
• Promote community inclusion by supporting participation in community activities and building relationships.
• Provide personal care and daily support as needed, including mobility and daily living tasks.
• Document progress and input ISP development and updates.
