Job summary

ARC Voyagers in Grove City, OH is seeking an Activity Specialist to provide individualized support, plan engaging activities, and promote skills for independence. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with an hourly wage of $18.00, joining a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities build meaningful lives.

You will follow each person’s ISP, create meaningful experiences, and support community inclusion while maintaining safety and documentation

Excellent communication skills with clients and families.
Ability to build trust and strong relationships with individuals served.
Patient, encouraging, and person-centered approach.
Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide person-centered support by following ISP goals and tailoring activities to individual interests.
Plan and lead educational, recreational, social, and community activities.
Teach daily living, social, and communication skills to promote independence.
Support individuals in community participation and building relationships.
Assist with personal care and daily living tasks as needed.
Document progress and contribute to ISP updates and progress notes.
