Job summary

ARC Voyagers is seeking an Activity Specialist to support individuals with disabilities in Grove City, OH. You will plan and lead engaging activities, teach daily living and social skills, and promote independence in a supportive setting.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with an hourly wage of $18.00. Benefits include health coverage, life insurance, 403(b) with match, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurability.
• Background checks required (BCII/FBI) and Aide Registry checks.
• First aid/CPR certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support per ISP goals and individual needs.
• Plan and lead educational, recreational, and community activities.
• Teach daily living, social, and communication skills for independence.
• Promote community inclusion and facilitate transportation safety.
• Document progress and contribute to ISP updates.
