Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks a senior technologist to act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading enterprise-scale design discussions across AI, cloud, cyber, and software domains. You will collaborate with account teams to present WWT’s OEM and services portfolio and drive profitable opportunities.

You will engage with IT and business leadership, shape solution architectures, and coordinate cross-functional resources to win large and strategic deals, while staying current with industry

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field at a technology integrator, OEM, or Life Sciences client.
• Architectural and technical experience with applications, Infrastructure, Cyber, Cloud, and Networking, Data Center, and End User Experience solutions.
• Strong application development technology and application architecture history and understanding of current trends and migration strategies.
• Deep skills and knowledge as an SME in 2+ critical parts of infrastructure.
• Industry-level certifications including CCIE, CISSP, CDP, MCSE AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience calling on and deploying technology solutions in a sales environment in Fortune 500 settings.
• Architectural training or experience in TOGAF UAM and others.
• Familiarity with Big Data, AI, Automation, end user experience, service management technologies, cloud technologies incl containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native services, storage, networking and commercial models.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to learn new tech spaces quickly.
• Strong relationships within Life Sciences space and tech supply chain (OEM).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to gain trusted advisor status in WWT's portfolio and value.
• Create plans with account team to educate prospects on OEM and services portfolio.
• Drive gross profit by proposing solution designs and architectures.
• Focus on ATC Lab Engagements and AI Proving Ground to gain mindshare.
• Own OEM engagements in assigned client area, incl Life Sciences partners; focus on AI, cyber, software.
• Build trust by meeting IT, LOB, Security and other resources with planned cadence.
• Coordinate WWT resources to drive campaigns and large deals.
• Develop a personal plan and stay current with vertical trends and technology.
