Job summary

Accenture’s Salesforce Life Sciences practice is seeking a Salesforce Life Sciences Functional Architect to lead the functional design of a defined workstream within a larger program, running requirements and design sessions and translating business processes into platform solutions. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce experience in a functional design, business analysis or solution consulting capacity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering Salesforce solutions for Life Sciences clients or another regulated industry.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Patient services experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Salesforce Life Sciences experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional solution design for an assigned workstream within a Salesforce Life Sciences program, within the overall architecture direction.
• Lead design workshops with client business and product owners, translating outcomes into user stories and technical designs.
• Configure and demonstrate Salesforce Life Sciences capabilities, building prototypes and walkthroughs to validate design decisions.
• Make day-to-day design decisions within your domain and elevate cross-workstream decisions to the lead architect.
• Partner with technical leads and developers to ensure designs are buildable and assist with estimation, sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Guide and review the work of functional analysts and offshore team members, providing coaching and quality oversight.
• Contribute to architecture governance and design reviews with prepared materials and standards.
• Support testing, data migration, training and deployment activities for your workstream and drive user adoption post go-live.
• Contribute to proposals, demonstrations and estimates during pursuits and build reusable assets for the Life Sciences practice.
• Identify and raise design, scope and delivery risks and work on mitigation.
• Travel may be required (25%–100%).
