What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual product sales goals in the assigned territory
- Maintain accurate customer data and opportunity funnel in Salesforce.com independently
- Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales support, product demos, installations, and training
- Manage key accounts and drive sales across various verticals, collaborating with product specialists and application scientists
- Utilize continuous process improvement to enhance sales performance and manage key accounts effectively

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years of professional sales experience in life sciences consumables or equipment related to spatial biology/histology
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific discipline preferred
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and high-level selling to research institutions and clinical settings
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment and experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
- Must reside in Eastern U.S., preferably North Carolina RTP, DC, Maryland, or Virginia

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling to government agencies, academic communities, and clinical/lab settings
- Strong comprehension of scientific applications and markets related to histology and digital pathology
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent presentations of product portfolios
