Job summary

Cogent Scientific, an insourced contract research organization, seeks a Pharma Scientific Recruiter to support its laboratory leadership team in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on sourcing and screening candidates with molecular biology and biochemistry backgrounds and coordinating with leadership to move candidates through the process.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of recruiting experience in science, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

BS-Biology, Chemistry or related field with 2+ years of recruiting experience (BS through PhD).
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and learning agility.

Responsibilities

Source and screen candidates for open roles, focusing on molecular biology and biochemistry backgrounds.
Schedule meetings with candidates and internal/external customers.
Complete and send essential documents to leadership in a timely manner.
Communicate consistently with candidates and the hiring team.
Utilize social media and other sources to attract scientific candidates.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
