Job summary

Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Consulting Principal, Life Sciences - R&D, to lead strategic transformations across the end-to-end research and development value chain for pharma, biotech, and contract research clients. You will guide discovery, translational research, and clinical development with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

You will drive business development, design future-ready operating models, and apply AI and digital platforms to accelerate decision-making and asset

Qualifications

• 14-18 years of professional experience in pharma/biotech consulting or industry R&D
• Proven track record leading complex consulting engagements and business development
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end consulting engagements across discovery, preclinical, translational, and clinical development in Life Sciences R&D.
• Mentor consultants and managers to build domain expertise and consulting capabilities.
• Partner with account teams to expand the consulting footprint across discovery operating models, data strategy, and digital R&D platforms.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders and executives.
