Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Director Scheduler to join our team and lead scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will establish the schedule management program, interface with stakeholders, and develop integrated project plans to drive efficient execution.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years in planner/scheduler roles, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years as a planner/scheduler on capital projects.
• Experience in a complex matrix environment.
• Construction industry experience is required; life sciences experience preferred.
• Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance provided if not local.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables.
• Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents.
• Assess impacts to the critical path and report to the project team.
• Monitor schedule deviations and develop corrective actions.
• Prepare schedule progress reports and analysis.
• Maintain record of scope changes and variances.
• Ensure credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
• Review schedules with project team to ensure accurate data.
