Job summary

Sarika Bio Inc. is seeking a full-time paralegal in New York, NY to support legal and business operations. The role focuses on corporate governance, contracts, regulatory filings, and compliance, with in-person collaboration required.

You will prepare documents such as NDAs and vendor contracts, help manage board materials, and coordinate approvals. Strong research, review, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in law, corporate concepts, life sciences awareness a plus.
• Proficiency in legal document preparation including contracts, board materials, and regulatory filings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Advanced research skills for legal, regulatory and factual inquiries.
• Detail-oriented document review with accuracy and quality control.
• Experience as a corporate paralegal or in-house/firm setting, life sciences preferred.
• Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with standard office software and legal DMS; comfortable with data rooms.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate, transactional and compliance matters.
• Prepare and organize legal documents including NDAs and vendor contracts.
• Organize corporate records and entity governance.
• Maintain compliance calendar and board/committee materials.
• Coordinate filings, signatures and approvals across teams.
• Conduct legal and factual research and review contracts for accuracy.
• Assist with cross-functional workflows and document management.
