Job summary

Protara Therapeutics is seeking a highly organized Paralegal to support the Legal & Compliance function in developing therapies for NMIBC and rare diseases. The role covers contracting, commercial, regulatory, IP, governance, and compliance across a fast-paced biotech environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of paralegal experience, strong document management skills, and proficiency with MS Office and legal tech tools. NYC two-days-per-week onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program preferred.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharma, healthcare, or regulated industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, review, tracking, and administration of agreements including NDAs and clinical trial agreements.
• Coordinate contract signatures through Docusign and maintain contract management systems.
• Support corporate governance, board materials, and annual filings.
• Collaborate with Finance, R&D, Commercial and HR stakeholders on legal processes.
• Manage multiple priorities and ensure accurate regulatory documentation.
