Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing to lead end-to-end transformations for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical-device clients. You will align plant operations with enterprise systems, drive value realization, and manage complex, regulated delivery programs across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, governance, and risk management, with travel up to 80–100% as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, or related.
10+ years of experience spanning Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing tech, or related fields.
Experience leading complex manufacturing transformation initiatives in regulated environments.
Experience delivering client-facing programs with governance, resources, and risk management.
Ability to travel as needed (up to 80–100%).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Life Sciences manufacturing transformations from assessment to value realization.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and drive timely decisions.
Translate priorities into practical workplans and measurable outcomes.
Direct multidisciplinary teams across design, automation, data, and quality.
Shape design for batch and discrete execution, eBR/eDHRs, recipes, and genealogy.
Guide integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, and historians.
Establish data foundations with governance and secure IT/OT connectivity.
Shape analytics/AI use cases and assess value, data readiness, and risk.
Collaborate with quality/validation teams to ensure GxP controls; manage change.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and risk; oversee testing and adoption.
Connect digital solutions to daily management and continuous improvement.
Lead and mentor teams; develop reusable methods and opportunities.
