Job summary

Omega Point Partners seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Intellectual Property Litigation Group in a hybrid role with offices in Boston, MA and other national locations. You will handle complex patent and technology-related litigation, gaining courtroom, discovery, and strategic litigation experience in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active bar admission in applicable jurisdiction in good standing.
• Strong background in IP disputes, particularly patent litigation.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and managing motion practice.
• Proficient drafting pleadings, motions, briefs and other filings.
• Familiarity with IP matters, ITC and IPR a plus.
• Electrical/CS technical discipline preferred or equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated IP and patent litigation matters.
• Conduct all phases of written discovery, fact development, and case strategy.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and related documents.
• Manage expert discovery and collaborate with technical experts.
• Assist with trial preparation, hearings and strategy.
• Support IPR proceedings and ITC matters when applicable.
• Work with clients in technology-driven industries on complex disputes.
