Job summary

Zaddy Solutions seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Life Sciences Intellectual Property Litigation Group on a hybrid basis in Boston (and other locations). You will handle complex patent and technology-related litigation matters, gaining courtroom, discovery, and strategic experience in a collaborative environment.

The candidate will leverage strong IP dispute background, great drafting skills, and a technical degree to advance high-stakes cases for leading tech clients with global reach.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction in good standing
• Strong background in intellectual property disputes, particularly patent litigation
• Proven ability to take and defend depositions and manage motion practice
• Skilled in written discovery, fact development, and expert discovery
• Demonstrated proficiency drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings
• Familiarity with Inter Partes Review proceedings and/or ITC matters is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred
• Equivalent technical or industry background will be considered
• Excellent analytical, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple matters
• Collaborative mindset and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated IP and patent litigation matters
• Conduct all phases of written discovery, fact development, and case strategy
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents
• Manage expert discovery and collaborate with technical experts
• Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and strategic litigation planning
• Support ITC investigations and other PTAB matters when applicable
• Assist with ITC investigations and related proceedings as opportunities arise
• Work closely with clients in technology-driven industries on complex disputes

• Competitive Salary: Range of $235,000-$365,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and class year.
