Job summary

Accenture is seeking a finance transformation leader in Illinois to advise Finance leadership across end-to-end processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Tax, Treasury) with a focus on R&D, Commercial and Supply Chain Finance. You will translate operating complexity into scalable finance processes and enabling technologies for Pharma, MedTech, and Medical Distribution sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of finance management consulting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of functional experience in Finance operations (e.g., Financial Close, External Reporting, Intercompany, Consolidations, Order-to-Cash or Invoice-to-Pay, FP&A).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with leading finance ERP/EPM platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, OneStream).
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading projects and/or small to mid-size teams (10-15 people).
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration

Responsibilities

• Help clients modernize their finance functions by setting vision, strategy, goals and outcomes.
• Lead Finance transformation in R&D, Commercial, and Supply Chain domains.
• Drive FP&A, Tax and Treasury improvements and standard cost design initiatives.
• Oversee data models, processes and enabling technologies in Pharma and MedTech sectors.
• Serve as SME to drive business development and client buy-in on proposals.
• Manage risk, project economics, deliverables, and client relationships.
• Stay current with FinTech and GenAI/Agentic AI trends in finance.
