Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Business Process Outsourcing Manager to join our Advisory Department in Philadelphia. You will run day-to-day financial operations, oversee onshore and offshore staff, and drive improvements in internal processes and controls.

This role directly supports clients across multiple industries with GAAP-compliant financial reporting and data-driven decision support. You will leverage ERP and accounting systems, manage closing cycles, and collaborate with vendors,

Qualifications

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships
• Experience as a Controller / Assistant Controller or similar
• Experience across multiple industries including professional services, manufacturing, construction, healthcare
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial processes
• Experience with multiple accounting systems (QB, Xero, Dynamics, NetSuite, Intacct) and ERP packages
• Expert in Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
• ERP implementation experience a plus
• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day financial operations including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and reporting
• Monitor team usage of internal procedures and controls
• Manage onshore and offshore staff performing transactional and accounting activities
• Assist in preparing financial statements per guidelines
• Communicate with vendors, customers, partners, banks and other stakeholders
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly/annual closings
• Assist budgets and forecasts
• Review accounting information to identify inaccuracies
• Convert customers to new accounting systems and perform data cleanup
• Advise on technical accounting decisions
• Develop models and analyses for client requests
• Encourage improvements to internal operations via stakeholder input
