Job summary

CBRE seeks a Facilities Sr. Manager to lead hard and soft services for a Life Sciences flagship HQ site in Greensboro, NC. Role is fully onsite, Monday–Friday, with minimal travel.

You will supervise staff, manage capital projects and budgets, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating repairs and safety procedures. A degree is preferred, with 5–8 years of relevant leadership experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading facilities management in Life Sciences or regulated environments.
• Strong staff development, coaching, and performance management skills.
• Ability to communicate performance expectations and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; track training, evaluate performance, and oversee hiring.
• Coordinate daily team activities; set schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Oversee facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Manage large capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and implement efficiency, repairs, and upgrades.
• Develop environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Manage vendor relationships and review purchase orders for parts, services, labor.
• Apply broad knowledge to align disciplines and achieve team goals.
• Lead by example, embody CBRE RISE values, and influence others within policies.
• Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems.
• Understand broader department impact and drive improvements.
• Improve and update methods, processes, and standards within the discipline.
