Job summary
Welo Data is a global language and technology partner serving life sciences clients with regulator-ready translation and localization. This role owns English to German translation for clinical trial, pharmacovigilance and regulatory documents, plus post-editing and quality review within client project setups.
You'll translate regulatory and clinical content, perform MT post-editing, and ensure consistent tone and accuracy under tight deadlines, using XTM/Phrase and Word Track Changes in a
Qualifications
- 2+ years of practical translation experience in life sciences and medical documents
- Experience with CAT tools such as XTM or Phrase
- Familiarity with Track Changes in Microsoft Word
- Education in Translation, Linguistics or Language Studies or equivalent plus relevant translation experience
- Ability to complete onboarding assessment and provide an English CV detailing life sciences translation work
Responsibilities
- Translate clinical research, regulatory and pharmacovigilance documents from English to German
- Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing on machine translated safety content
- Copy edit translated content for accuracy, tone and consistency
- Meet strict non-extendable turnaround times for time-sensitive content
- Work within the client CAT tool environment (XTM/Phrase) and track changes in Word
