Job summary

Renovo Solutions is seeking a Life Sciences Engineer I to perform scheduled maintenance and repair services on research and manufacturing equipment at pharmaceutical facilities. The role includes preventative maintenance, calibration, and validation of instruments ranging from water purification to incubators and humidity chambers.

You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose issues, and maintain detailed service reports while engaging with customers and internal teams to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Laboratory/electronic/mechanical technician experience required.
• Experience with life science laboratory equipment preferred.
• Understanding of metrology/calibration preferred.
• Experience in a GxP regulated environment preferred.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel).
• High level attention to detail.
• Self-directed with time management skills.
• Basic hands-on mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, repairs, and verification/qualification on a variety of laboratory multi-vendor instruments.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout maintenance and repair cycles.
• Communicate with equipment end users to discuss work and results.
• Engage with customers and provide basic instrument services professionally and timely.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Prepare service reports, expense reports, and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Communicate regularly with leadership and escalate challenging service events with a plan for resolution.
