Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a remote EST, 6+ month contract position in the United States. The role focuses on gathering requirements, gap analysis, and translating scientific workflows for IT and data teams.

You will collaborate with scientists, chemists, and stakeholders to produce BRDs, user stories, and process maps, while supporting Agile delivery and Jira usage.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience in Life Sciences.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Drug Discovery, or Research organizations.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and partnering with medicinal chemists or discovery teams.
• Experience supporting preclinical research environments and scientific data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gatherings, workshops, and gap analysis sessions with scientists, chemists, and stakeholders.
• Translate complex scientific workflows into clear business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process maps, user stories, BRDs, and supporting project documentation.
• Utilize Jira to manage requirements, track work items, and support Agile delivery processes.
• Support preclinical research data initiatives (in vitro, animal study, PK/PD, and toxicology datasets).
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams to ensure adoption of solutions.
• Manage stakeholder communications across cross-functional scientific and technical teams.
