Koops is seeking a strategic business development professional to expand our life sciences presence and solve complex manufacturing challenges. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and executive teams to deliver custom automation solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of selling $10M annually in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing.
• Proven success developing new business and growing strategic customer accounts.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and related applications.
• Experience with GMP, FDA regulations, validation, and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience selling or supporting automation, robotics, or capital equipment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the life sciences market.
• Build and own relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device manufacturers.
• Identify, develop, and convert high-value automation opportunities.
• Lead complex sales pursuits from discovery through project award.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop automation solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Provide life sciences expertise related to GMP, validation, and regulated manufacturing processes.
• Represent Koops at industry conferences, networking events, and customer meetings.
• Drive profitable sales growth while expanding Koops’ presence in the life sciences market.
• Win projects for the team to execute with excellence.
