Job summary

GBA invites motivated engineering students to join our Lenexa, KS office for a summer Architect Intern Life Sciences position. You will work alongside project architects and engineers on a range of new and renovation projects in a collaborative team environment.

This hands-on role provides exposure to corporate offices, pharmaceutical clean rooms, R&D labs, and manufacturing spaces, with real responsibilities and mentorship from experienced professionals to build your design and documentation

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Architecture program, junior year preferred.
• Strong design capabilities and visual acuity.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support to Project Architects and other team members
• Create and edit project specific details
• Assist with maintaining project files and notes from meetings
• Gain exposure to projects including corporate offices, pharmaceutical clean rooms, R&D labs, and manufacturing spaces
• Other duties as assigned
