Job summary

GBA Life Sciences invites engineering students to join our team as Electrical Engineer Interns in Broomfield, CO or Lenexa, KS. The role focuses on designing electrical systems for bio-pharma projects within an integrated team, providing real-world experience on a diverse set of projects.

The internship is an opportunity to work with architects, engineers and project managers on construction documents, shop drawings, and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred.
• GPA 2.7 strongly preferred.
• Finished at least two years of school.
• Prior internship or related experience is a plus.
• Involved in campus/community activities and/or organizations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for various systems.
• Review shop drawings and RFI’s.
• Verify permitting and code requirements.
• Conduct facility evaluations and engineering studies.
• Troubleshoot and commission systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
