Job summary

GBA Life Sciences invites engineering students to join as interns in the Life Sciences group, located in Broomfield, CO or Lenexa, KS. Interns will work within an integrated team to design mechanical and electrical systems for bio pharma clients.

The role offers hands-on experience with construction documents, shop drawings, RFIs, and commissioning, in a collaborative environment with architects, engineers, and project managers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel preferred.
• 27 GPA strongly preferred.
• Finished at least two years of school.
• Prior internship is a plus.
• Involved in campus community and other volunteer activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for various systems.
• Review shop drawings and RFIs.
• Verify permitting and code requirements.
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies.
• Troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Other duties as assigned.

What Youll Do

• Preparing construction documents for various systems
• Review of shop drawings and RFIs
• Verification of permitting and code requirements
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies
• Trouble shooting and commissioning
• Other fun duties as assigned

What Youll Bring

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program
• Experience with AutoCAD Revit and Excel software is preferred
• 27 GPA strongly preferred
• Finished at least two years of school
• Prior Internship is andor related experience is a plus
• Involved in campus community and other volunteer activities and or organization
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Compensation

Pay range 24hr 2650hr based on years completed of school prior to internship beginning
