Job summary

Lynx Analytics is hiring a Sales Manager to drive commercial growth in life sciences. This is a hands-on role: you will own your pipeline, hit revenue targets, and run complex sales cycles end-to-end with senior buyers.

Qualifications

• You have a track record of winning and growing consulting or solutions-based business in life sciences.
• 5–8+ years in commercial roles with a quota track record.
• Self-generating pipeline via cold outreach and prospecting.
• Credibility in life sciences across commercial, data, or R&D.
• Experience selling analytics, AI, or professional services engagements.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and bringing structure to sales processes.
• Strong ability to translate a territory plan into daily execution.
• Confident engaging director- and VP-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver on revenue targets across target markets and net-new business.
• Proactively generate new leads through cold outreach and research to build a pipeline.
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within accounts in partnership with delivery.
• Shape proposals, pricing, and solution positioning with delivery and leadership.
• Develop relationships with client stakeholders across pharma, biotech, and medtech.
• Support go-to-market execution — messaging and campaign follow-up.
• Represent Lynx at client meetings, industry conferences, and key forums.
• Contribute to building out the commercial team and playbook as the function scales.
