Job summary

JLL in San Diego is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the Site/Facility Manager with maintenance, operations, vendor oversight, and client relations for a Life Science high-end account. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2–3 years of facility experience, and knowledge of building systems.

Prior pharma/biotech exposure is advantageous. Estimated compensation ranges from 84,000 to 98,000 USD per year with on-site work in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two to three years of industry experience.
• Prior experience in facilities with a pharmaceutical or bio-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and personal success.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner with KPI compliance and excellent customer service.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and vendor scheduling to ensure minimal disruption.
• Assist in procurement of vendors and services and manage escalations with vendors.
• Maintain accurate records and support budget planning and financial coordination.
