Aqua-Tots Swim School is hiring a Water Safety Instructor in Cypress. This part-time role involves delivering engaging swim lessons, enforcing safety, and building relationships with families.

You will work with the Aqua-Tots curriculum to teach life-saving skills to children of various ages and ensure a clean, safe pool environment. The position requires flexible availability, including afternoons/evenings and weekends, and offers a supportive team culture with opportunities for growth and

Qualifications

• Ability to work at least two shifts per week.
• Comfortable in the water and able to swim.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic and patient attitude.

Responsibilities

• Teach Life-Saving Skills using Aqua-Tots curriculum.
• Ensure a Safe Environment with pool safety protocols.
• Build Family Relationships with progress updates.
• Educate & Communicate about curriculum and progression.
• Maintain Pool Readiness and log chemical results.
• Support the Swim School by helping with cleaning tasks.
• Track Student Progress with Aqua-Cards.
• Collaborate with the Team in trainings and meetings.
