Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a clinical area is preferred.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
• Experience in a critical care delivery setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of organ and tissue donation processes is beneficial.
• Ability to learn essential aspects of organ donor screening and clinical management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals from assigned hospitals to collect and communicate data on donor suitability.
• Facilitate the donation process with internal and external partners and initiate donor management orders.
• Participate on projects or committees to improve organizational culture and outcomes.
