Job summary

The role requires EMT-Paramedic licensure, CPR/AED, and clinical experience.

You will participate in donor testing reviews, handle adverse events, and assist with vaccination programs and employee health incidents, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of a recognized nursing program.
• Currently licensed or certified as EMT-Paramedic in the state.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and respond per SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER as needed.
