911 Emergency Communications in Wisconsin seeks experienced Emergency Medical Dispatchers to join a busy 24/7 operations center in Silver Lake. You will collect caller information, determine priorities, and coordinate ambulance resources in real time, following approved protocols.

Responsibilities include protocol-based guidance, maintaining clear documentation, and supporting responders with critical information during emergencies. Training and certifications may be sponsored where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EMD certification or sponsored training may be required before appointment.
• Experience with emergency response protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies.
• Confirm location, callback number, and access details.
• Ask approved questions about the patient’s condition.
• Determine response priority through the authorized medical dispatch system.
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources as assigned.
• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications.
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responders.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
