Job summary

Rhode Island Blood Center is seeking a dedicated driver to support mobile blood drives across Rhode Island. You will set up, operate, and takedown drives, transport blood products safely, and provide friendly service to hospitals, donors, and sponsors.

The role requires a valid license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of truck or bus driving experience preferred.
• A valid/clean driver’s license required.
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Demonstrated experience driving a straight truck and cargo van and non-cdl bus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow instructions.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Blood Drive Operations: set up and take down mobile drives efficiently.
• Manage Blood Transport: safely transport and deliver blood and products to destinations in good condition.
• Assist and Serve: provide excellent customer service to clients, donors, and team members, building relationships with hospitals and sponsors.
• Handle Various Tasks: take on additional tasks to support the drive with a can-do attitude.
