Bechtel is seeking a Life Safety Systems CSU Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning and startup activities for Life Safety Systems in a large semiconductor facility. You will lead testing for fire alarm, detection, suppression, emergency comms, gas detection, smoke control, power interfaces, and BAS integration.
You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction, vendors, AHJs, and operations to ensure safe turnover and alignment with project requirements.
Competenze
- Requires bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in mission critical facilities or 9–12 years if no international equivalence.
Mansioni
- Plan and execute commissioning and startup plans for Life Safety Systems.
- Lead functional and integrated testing of LSS, including fire alarm, detection, suppression, gas, and emergency systems.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Vendors, AHJs, and operations for testing and turnover.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, IBC, IFC, OSHA, AHJ, and client standards.
- Prepare turnover packages and ensure required as-built documentation and procedures are completed.
