Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a senior technical contributor and discipline lead for Fire and Life Safety Systems on large, complex projects, including hyperscale data centers and semiconductor manufacturing facilities. The role centers on integrated life safety, EVACS/IBPSC, and gas-monitoring systems, requiring strong leadership and client interaction.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Plans and develops scope, technical specs for fire and life safety on large projects.
Leads architecture, design development, modification and multi-system integration of fire and life safety systems.
Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to upper management.
Develops conceptual and preliminary fire and life safety designs for hyperscale data centers and fabs.
Supports preparation of estimates, staffing needs, and schedules.
Oversees discipline estimates and work plans, supporting project scope, schedule and budget.
Interfaces with clients to define requirements and support proposals and presentations.
Provides technical oversight during implementation and coordination with other disciplines.
