Job summary

Everon in Edison, NJ is seeking a Contract/PMA Sales Representative to increase recurring service and monitoring sales for life safety systems, including fire alarms and security. The role focuses on converting projects into service agreements and expanding the customer base.

You will conduct surveys, develop proposals, perform cold calls, and present solutions to clients, with a track record in high-volume sales and strong prospecting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3–5 years in high-volume sales.
• Outside sales and cold calling experience.
• Proven track record in selling services or intangibles.
• Excellent customer service, self-motivation, and work ethic.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business by providing solutions to existing and new clients.
• Cold-calling and outside sales to generate new business.
• Conduct building surveys to develop customer proposals.
• Create service agreement proposals (test/inspections, PM, monitoring).
• Deliver sales presentations to customers and management.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and services.
• Review test/inspection reports with technicians to quantify proposals.
• Coordinate with internal departments to relay customer needs.
• Attract new customers and upsell to existing base via field/phone/direct marketing.
• Assist marketing initiatives related to sales activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of company services in presentations.
