Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Facilities Engineering Life Safety Technician in Bloomington, MN to oversee life safety systems, maintenance planning, and safety compliance in a high-tech semiconductor environment.

The role involves handling 16 control panels, gas detectors, and associated equipment critical to clean-room operations. The position requires extensive experience with life safety systems, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 2 Year Technical/associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military training/manufacturing work experience.
• 5 years’ experience operating life safety systems.
• 8-10 years related work experience in manufacturing or operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide cultural leadership by exemplifying core values.
• Coordinate/Plan/Perform equipment preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
• Contractor management and oversight of vendors.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and participate in SOP development and training.
• Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain life safety systems including 16 control panels and remote gas detectors.
