Job summary

SuperHero Fire Protection, based in Nashville, TN, seeks a Life Safety Inspector to inspect, test, and document fire systems for NFPA 25 compliance with local and state codes. You will help ensure safety and protection of lives and property.

The role requires 2+ years of inspection experience, NFPA 25 knowledge, NICET II certification (or willingness to obtain), strong communication, and a clean driving record. A company vehicle and tools are provided for field work.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience inspecting fire and life safety systems.
Knowledge of NFPA 25 and related fire protection codes.
State certification or NICET Level II (or willingness to obtain).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire systems per NFPA 25, local codes and company standards.
Accurately document inspection findings and generate detailed reports.
Identify deficiencies and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
Communicate with customers to explain system conditions and ensure understanding.
Work closely with service and repair teams to schedule follow-up work.
Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicle in excellent condition.
