Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services in Nashville, TN is seeking a skilled Fire Inspector to perform inspections of fire alarm, fire suppression, and other life safety systems in commercial facilities. You will test and inspect in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements, identify deficiencies, and create thorough reports documenting findings and compliance.

You will communicate results to customers and the internal team, maintain accurate records, and coordinate follow-up actions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience performing fire system inspections.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire/life safety standards.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed inspection and compliance reports.
• Ability to identify deficiencies and provide accurate documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of fire alarm, fire suppression, and other life safety systems in commercial facilities.
• Conduct testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.
• Identify deficiencies and document findings accurately.
• Create detailed inspection reports, deficiency reports, and compliance documentation.
• Communicate inspection results to customers and internal team members.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed inspections.
• Coordinate with service technicians and customers regarding follow-up repairs and corrective actions.
