Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Fire Inspector to join our team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm and life safety system inspections, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to accurately document findings and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Responsibilities include inspecting fire alarm and life safety systems in commercial facilities, testing per NFPA standards, documenting deficiencies, and communicating results to customers

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience performing fire system inspections.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire/life safety standards.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed inspection and compliance reports.
• Ability to identify deficiencies and provide accurate documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of fire alarm, fire suppression, and other life safety systems in commercial facilities.
• Conduct testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.
• Identify deficiencies and document findings accurately.
• Create detailed inspection reports, deficiency reports, and compliance documentation.
• Communicate inspection results to customers and internal team members.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed inspections.
• Coordinate with service technicians and customers regarding follow-up repairs and corrective actions.
