Job summary

Superhero Fire Protection seeks Life Safety Inspectors to execute inspections and testing of fire systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 25 and local codes. You’ll document findings, communicate conditions to customers, and collaborate with service teams to plan follow-up work.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in life safety inspections, NFPA 25 knowledge, and NICET II or state certification. Strong communication and tech-savviness with inspection software are essential while maintaining equipment

Qualifications

2+ years of experience inspecting fire and life safety systems.
Knowledge of NFPA 25 and related fire protection codes and standards.
State certification or NICET Level II (or willingness to obtain).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using inspection software and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire systems per NFPA 25, local codes, and company standards.
Accurately document inspection findings and generate detailed reports.
Identify deficiencies and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
Communicate with customers to explain system conditions and ensure understanding.
Work closely with service and repair teams to schedule follow-up work.
Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicle in excellent condition.
