National Life Group in Montpelier, VT (with Addison, TX) seeks a forward-thinking Manager of Life New Business to develop future leaders and optimize operations across sites and channels.

As a critical leadership role, you will oversee a team of Operations Leads, partnering with Underwriting, Quality, and Training to deliver an outstanding experience for internal and external partners, while promoting NLG values and a culture of continuous learning.

• Strong collaboration across departments to drive operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team across multiple sites to ensure efficient processing of Life New Business
• Champion a high-performance culture with a focus on leadership development and coaching
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and enhance customer and agent experience
• Coach team members on building effective, service-oriented relationships with distribution partners
• Model partner relationship skills and uphold professionalism, responsiveness, and trust in external interactions
• Resolve complex partner issues and turn challenges into opportunities to strengthen partnerships
• Set individual and team goals aligned with department and organizational objectives
• Coach a team acting as escalation for high-priority inquiries, ensuring swift resolution
• Promote ongoing learning, adaptability, and AI-guided innovation within NLG
• Collaborate across distribution and enterprise-wide teams
• This role is onsite/hybrid with four days per week in the office (Mon–Thu)
