  • Provide technical support during lectures and coordinate with Production for advanced support.
  • Shutdown equipment after lectures and ensure all materials are prepared.
  • Observe safety requirements and report issues to Supervisor or Security.
  • Collaborate effectively with Artis—Naples team.

General Summary

Responsible for providing support for all aspects of production and logistics for Lifelong Learning events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
  • Work with Education, Artist Services and Production teams to communicate with guest lecturers in advance in order to prepare for the lecture.
  • Meet with lecturer prior to session(s) and finish ½ hour post lecture.
  • Provide basic technical set-up, including but not limited to: computer, projector, DVD, CD, microphone, etc.
  • Provide basic technical support during the lecture and coordinate with Production team for securing advanced technical support.
  • Shutdown all technical components after the lecture is complete.
  • Ensure that all supplied programs and required written materials are in place.
  • Observe safety requirements. Report safety issues and items requiring work orders to Supervisor or Security.
  • Work effectively with all Artis—Naples team members.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma
  • Experience with technical equipment including but not limited to computers, projectors and sound equipment.
  • High energy, sense of humor and grace under pressure.
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in music and both the visual and performing arts preferred.
