Job summary

Kemper Corporation is hiring a Life Insurance Sales Agent in a field, full-time role based in Augusta, GA. You will undergo paid training to obtain licensing, then manage an existing book of business and collect monthly premiums.

You’ll earn commissions on new sales with a pay-for-performance model, and opportunities for growth through awards, prizes and company-sponsored trips. A strong emphasis on serving underserved communities is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales presentations and close new sales.
• Prospect for new opportunities and grow the book of business.
• Maintain strong relationships by collecting premiums per schedule.
• Respond to service requests such as beneficiary changes and loans.
• Record-keeping and processing policy paperwork.
