Job summary

Kemper is seeking an Insurance Agent Trainee in Blue Ash, Ohio for a full-time field role. New agents undergo paid training to study for licensing exams and, once licensed, manage an existing book of business, collecting monthly premiums and earning commissions.

The compensation is fully commission-based with performance rewards and company-sponsored trips. The role emphasizes field visits to serve clients, collect premiums, and drive new sales, with a focus on serving underserved communities

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork
