Job summary

Pekin Insurance seeks a Life Insurance IT Analyst III to partner with product managers, business units, and technical teams to translate business problems into user stories and testable outcomes for life insurance products.

You will document customer journeys, support backlog prioritization, define test cases, and participate in planning and releases while ensuring product quality and alignment with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–8 years equivalent work experience.
• Typically requires 5–8 years of experience in the field.
• Experience in an Agile environment strongly preferred.
• Life Insurance knowledge is highly preferred, especially life insurance forms.

Responsibilities

• Identify business problems with product teams and translate into user stories.
• Document customer journeys and complex business processes for life insurance.
• Support backlog prioritization and clarify requirements for developers.
• Define and execute test cases and participate in planning/releases.
• Provide operational support and ensure product quality aligned with strategy.
