Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational leadership, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically requires 4+ years of experience in strategic planning, business planning, business analysis, management consulting, or corporate communications.
• Familiarity with strategy and execution frameworks such as Playing to Win, OKRs, Balanced Scorecard, OGSM, and 4DX.
• Experience with portfolio management, program management, demand intake, prioritization, or governance processes.
• Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, or Life Insurance.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and supports business and department-level strategic planning processes.
• Designs and conducts strategy reviews and alignment meetings.
• Creates and maintains strategy communications including goals, priorities, scorecards and other results, and governance decisions.
• Manages the portfolio intake process for new initiatives, enhancements and requests, ensuring submissions include sufficient business context, objectives, benefits, and success measures.
• Monitors the progress and effectiveness of the portfolio, providing regular updates and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Supports the implementation and enablement of the company’s strategy framework, documentation, and execution systems, and develops change management plans to gain adoption.
• Partners with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand target outcomes, define strategic objectives and business goals, and ensure consistent alignment on key initiatives.
• Identifies and compiles analysis and insights from internal and external sources to support decision-making, including market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging risks.
• Prepares and presents reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing clear and concise insights and recommendations.
• Stays up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
