Job summary

The Wealshire is seeking a Full Time Activity Assistant/Life Enrichment Aide for our Medina Community. You will lead activities for residents, prepare rooms and materials, and assist with meals to promote engagement and well‑being.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year of activity experience (memory care in LTC preferred). Musical or artistic abilities are a plus; weekend/holiday availability is required to support residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience as an Activity Assistant preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care preferred.
• Musical or Artistic abilities are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead resident group activities of various sizes.
• Prepare rooms, equipment and supplies for each program and clean up afterward.
• Conduct one-to-one programs for low-functioning residents.
• Clean and care for bird aviaries on Tuesdays and Saturdays as instructed.
• Keep supplies and equipment neat and organized.
• Assist and help feed residents at meal times as needed.
