The Wealshire is seeking a Full Time Activity Assistant/Life Enrichment Aide at the Medina Community. Base pay is $20-22 per hour, predicated on experience. Shifts run 8:00am-4:30pm or 11:30am-8:00pm; eligibility to work every other weekend and every other holiday is required.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year as an Activity Assistant; memory care and long-term care experience are preferred. Musical or artistic abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1+ year of experience as an Activity Assistant preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care preferred.
• Musical or Artistic abilities are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment by leading resident activities.
• Prepare rooms, equipment and supplies for programs and clean up afterward.
• Conduct one-to-one programs for low-functioning residents.
• Maintain bird aviaries on prescribed days and keep supplies organized.
• Assist and help feed residents at meal times as needed.
