Job summary

The Wealshire is seeking a Full Time Activity Assistant/Life Enrichment Aide to support residents at the Medina Community. Base pay is $20-22 per hour, depending on experience, with hours 8:00am-4:30pm or 11:30am-8:00pm and a requirement to work every other weekend and some holidays.

Responsibilities include leading group activities, preparing spaces, supporting one-to-one programs, caring for bird aviaries, and assisting with meals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1+ year experience as Activity Assistant, preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care, preferred.
• Musical or artistic abilities are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead resident group activities of varying sizes.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies before each program and clean up afterward.
• Conduct one-to-one programs for low-functioning residents.
• Clean and care for bird aviaries on Tuesday and Saturday as directed.
• Keep supplies and equipment neat and organized and return them to storage.
• Assist and help feed residents at meal times as needed.
