Job summary

The Wealshire is an assisted living community specializing in memory care. We are seeking Full Time Activity Assistants/Life Enrichment Aides at our Medina Community location. Base Pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm or 11:30am - 8:00pm; must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday. If you have musical or artistic abilities and enjoy engaging with residents, join our compassionate team and help enhance their well-being

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience as an Activity Assistant is preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care is preferred.
• Musical or artistic abilities is a PLUS, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead small, medium, and large resident group activities by the Director of Life Enrichment.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to each program and clean up after.
• Conduct one-to-one programs for residents who are low functioning.
• Clean and care for bird aviaries on Tuesdays and Saturdays as instructed.
• Keep supplies and equipment neat, organized and returned to their place.
• Assist and help feed residents at meal times as needed.
