Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Meets all state-specific requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and using a computer.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director, volunteers, and paid activity entertainers in fulfilling the needs of residents.
• Conduct activity programs as planned to meet the functional levels, needs and interests of each patient as assigned by the Activity Director.
• Complete records indicating patient attendance and participation in individual and group activities in a timely manner.
• Assist in developing the Activities Calendar and ensure documentation follows company policy and regulations.
• Support residents through 1:1 interaction, small group activities and large meetings.
